Varudu is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Gunasekhar due to be released on 31st March, 2010. This film, starring Allu Arjun in the lead role along with Tamil actor Arya, playing a negative character for the first time.

Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde and Brahmanandam in supporting roles. D.V.V. Danaiya is producing the film under banner "Universal Media".

Gunasekhar is not revealing any details of the heroine, and he tells you should find out by watching the movie. But informed that the herione is from Amritsar ( This is a very creative concept. )

This movie is based on marriage concept, mixed with commercial elements. The inside talk is very positive, and trade pundits say that the movie is going to be a big hit.
