Popular cinematographer PC Sriram had agreed to wield the camera. Music by Devi Sri Prasad under the MegaSuperGood films banner. Thota Tharani is the art director.
Merupu was launched on 30th april at Rama Naidu studios. This is the fourth movie for Ram Charan Teja and second movie for Ram Charan Teja & Kajal Aggarwal.
Several celebrities of T-Town graced the event. Mega Star Chiranjeevi had sounded the clap board for the muhurat shot while Ramanaidu switched on the camera.
The film has dialogues by Paruchuri brothers. Pawan Kalyan is playing a guest role in the film.
