Orange Review and Telugu Orange Movie Rating: Ram Charan Orange movie review and rating are updated here. Ram Charan’s highly anticipated movie was released today.

Just few hours before the release of Orange movie, the Ram Charan Teja, who played a hero role in this movie, has revealed the top secret regarding his character. He says that his character is all about the youngster and his life at an age of 16 and 25.

As per the latest reports, the first is full of comedy, which is good, but the story lacked in the second half. However, the climax is interesting with fantastic action parts.

Ram Charan Teja has played a Ram role as a wild life photographer. Genelia has played a crazy girl role and Shahzan Padamsee is the supporting actress. Prakash raj is an Australian police and Brahmanandham played a Genelia uncle’s character as a Puppy. The Puppy character is the highlight in the movie. Sanjay Swarup and Manjula have played as sister and brother-in-law characters for Ram.

Bommarillu Bhaskar is the director, K. Naga Babu is the producer and music was composed by Harris Jai Raj.

Stars Performance: -

Ram Charan has given an excellent performance all through the film. He has the entire responsibility to make the film attractive. The director has etched his character with new looks in all aspects including attire, make up, wardrobe, accessories. Ram looks superb and has has improved his body language to large extent. He has excelled in dialogue modulation. However, he has miserably missed the comedy timing. Genelia has a cute and chirpy look in the first half. Her performance before the interval bang is good to watch. But, after the intermission, she looks sober and has failed to impress the audiences. Shazahn Padamsee, who has made her debut in Tollywood, is good to watch. Her figure and physique are impressive. She has bright chances to secure more offers in Telugu film industry. Comedy by Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam are good in the film. Once again, Brahmanandam has given a healthy comedy in the film. Gayatri Rao appeared in a couple of scenes and she is okay. Prabhu, Sameer, Prakash Raj, Manjula and Sanjay Swaroop have done justice to their roles, while Madhurima flashed on screen for one scene and disappeared.

Movie Review and Rating
In a season of love stories comes another tale of romance, this time starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja. But Teja's efforts to reinvent himself as a lover boy in Orange are hampered by a thin storyline that leaves audiences groping in the dark.

Ram (Ram Charan Teja) is a graffiti painter who stays with his sister (Manjula) and brother-in-law (Sanjay Swaroop) in Sydney. He meets Jaanu (Genelia D'Souza) and promptly falls in love with her innocent charms. But Ram apparently doesn't believe in a love that lasts forever. Lovers, he claims, stop caring less and less about each other as time passes and eventually look for reasons to separate. The offer of a 'conditional' relationship is however not acceptable to Jaanu who wants Ram to love her forever. When questioned by a police officer (Prakash Raj), Ram reveals how he once fell in love with a girl called Ruba (Shazahn Padamsee) and had to live a life of lies just to please her. He doesn't want to be untrue to himself for the sake of someone else. Is Jaanu able convince Ram that love can indeed last forever? Does Ram realise he is losing true love even though he doesn't have any strong reasons to do so? Those are the kind of questions that are answered in the climax of the film.

While Teja puts in a credible performance despite not having a strong script to back him up, Genelia shines in the first half. Shazahn Padamsee, who makes her debut in Tollywood with Orange, is also a delight to watch. If her performance is anything to go by, Padamsee looks set for a long innings down South. Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam provide good comic relief in the film. The breathtaking beauty of Sydney and other foreign locales is brought alive on the screen by some brilliant camerawork.

Rating : Above Average Youthfull Entertainer - Movie audio was a big success and the album proved a chart-buster even before the release of the film.

It is not in its attempt to explain love from a fresh angle that Orange flounders. Where director Bommarillu Bhaskar seems to have taken a wrong turn is to try and reduce love to a mathematical formula that measures its highs and lows over time. A choreography that fails to capitalise on the film's chart topping music score and lax screenplay especially in the second half are huge letdowns as well. The climax does not live up to the film's promise and the abruptness with which Orange ends, only creates more confusion for the audience. - Courtesy -- NDTV Reviews --
