It’s turning to be a bleak scenario in Kollywood as the release dates often keep rescheduled at the last moment. The producers and distributors cannot keep a constant date to release their films. Udhayanidhi Stalin had earlier announced of releasing ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ on December 10 and later postponed the film on Dec 24, for the occasion of Christmas. Now we hear that the film will release on Dec 17.

Sasikumar’s ‘Easan’ is also expected to hit screens on the same day. Well, it looks like a tight combat between the movies. However, the other sources reveal that the release dates maybe again postponed due to the release of Vijay’s ‘Kaavalan’.

Much prior to the interim stay was imposed on ‘Kaavalan’, producer Sakthi Chidambaram and Romesh Babu had plans of releasing it on Dec 24. Now, closer sources to Sakthi mention that he is keen on releasing the film for Christmas as it will draw more crowds for the year end holidays.
