Maddelacheruvu Suri, the main convict behind Paritala Ravi’s murder was shot dead by gunmen on Monday (January 3). Three men fired at Suri from close range at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. He was in the city to report to the CBI every fortnight. The incident took place when Suri was returning home after meeting a lawyer at his office in connection with a case. Two more persons are believed to have been travelling in the car with Suri at the time of the attack.Suri was on the way to meet his sister in Navodaya colony, in his Skoda Fabia (AP 28 DF 1248) when he was shot at.


Suri officially declared dead by Apollo doctors. The official time of his death has been registered as 7:55pm. Ananthapuram on high alert, security beefed up in anticipation of possible violence following Maddelacheruvu Suri's murder
