Maddelacheruvu Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, a faction leader from Anantapur and the key accused in Paritala Ravi murder case, was critically injured when he was shot by unidentified assailants in Hyderabad on Monday evening. He was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills and was put on a ventilator. His condition is stated to be critical. The assailants reportedly pumped five rounds of bullets into Suri from a close range. A high alert was sounded in Suri's hometown Anantapur in the wake of the incident. Meanwhile, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu strongly condemned the attack
