It was reported earlier that veteran actor Kamal Haasan is showing interest in roping Anushka Shetty for his upcoming film titled “Thalaivan Irukiran”. Now, the latest buzz is

that Anushka has been chosen as lead female role in this film. Kamal Hasaan will direct this film apart from providing the script. This high budget film is likely to produce by Hollywood Production House.

Thalaivan Irukiran is expected to go on to sets in April, 2011 and it will be made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi as well. With the film, Anushka Shetty will also get a chance to enter into Bollywood .

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan’s Manmadha Baanam (Manmadhan Ambu in Tamil) with Trisha and Madhavan in lead roles has been released today. And, Anushka is all pinning hopes for her last release in this year with Nagarjuna titled “Ragada”. Ragada also stars Priyamani which is slated for release on 24th December.
