Ramgopal Varma's controversial production venture Bejawada Rowdilu has now made people of Vijayawada opt for hunger strike against its title.

A committee from Vijayawada Old city development has commenced a hunger strike on Monday at Patha Basti and Kaleswar Rao Market in Vijayawada as RGV was reluctant to change the title of the film. The committee members claim that ‘Bejawada Rowdilu’ title is conveying wrong impression to the people which might damage the city’s image.

They demanded to change the title of the film immediately and added further that the hunger strike will not be stopped until and unless Varma changes the title. We are yet to see how RGV handles this issue…

Columbia Pictures, which acquired the domestic distribution rights to the film earlier this week, says the untitled movie will come out at the end of 2012.

Bigelow and Boal each won a pair of Oscars for producing, directing and writing last year’s best picture, "The Hurt Locker." The two began developing the film about the Black Ops’ mission to capture Bin Laden in 2008.

One of the terrific directors of Kannada cinema with 25 films to his credit N Omprakash Rao is in full swing after a major accident he suffered two months ago.

Completing ‘Prince’ his unfinished task after accident coming in a wheel chair is now in fit condition taken up ‘Cotton Pete’ Kannada film. The film was launched on Thursday morning at Laldasa Sri Venkataramana temple at Balepet in Bangalore.

‘Narasimha’ with Aditya and Radhika is in cold storage since three years. I have taken a film with Aditya again and it is a pure commercial entertainer says Rao. 50 days shoot will be held in Bangalore and 10 days in it will be in Hosur. 20 percent of Tamil language will be used in this Kannada movie. There are five action scenes in this pukka commercial entertainer. This will be an entertainer like ‘Kalasipalya’ says Rao. He is going abroad for two songs shooting.

Rao has seen people admiring their place, locality they live very much. Like ‘Kalasipalya’ this one is also based on an important place in Bangalore. That is the reason to keep the title ‘Cottonpet’ and it happens to be the boundary of producer BS Sudheendra.

I would not ask the story or get any explanation so much of confidence I have on director N Omprakash Rao stated handsome actor Aditya addressing the media. Apart from petrol price hike, Jaipal is also scared of facing the Telangana agitators. And if people know that he is in Hyderabad, he would be under constant attack from the Telangana activists and leaders. Hence, these secret visits!

It is known news that the senior actor AVS is a reel life comedian and entertains with his antics. However, it appears that his brother came up with an experience that became a bitter memory for him and real life comedy for those around him. His name is Balasudhakar Sastry and here are few details.
A source close to Sastry revealed “Last year, Sastry tried to go to America to be part of the TANA event. As such, he writes small books on astrology which he sells for Rs 5, Rs10 here. His plan was to take these books to the US and sell the same for $5 and $10. So, he got the printing of extra copies done by spending nearly Rs 4 lakhs - Rs5 lakhs.”

The source added “The irony is, Sastry did all this even before getting the visa and much to his misfortune, his visa got rejected. He was caught in a state of panic and as a result, he stared breathing fire. Well, he started blasting the American Consulate people for not granting him the visa and then the TANA people for assuring that he will get the visa”.
Well, his expenditure on printing of books is not recovered even now.
