Bellamkonda Suresh has bought the remake rights of Malayalam flick Body Guard, which was recently remade into Tamil as Kaavalan with Vijay and Asin in the lead roles. Both the Malayalam version and the Tamil version won at the Box-Office and so Bellamkonda has purchased the rights for Telugu.

Natasimha Balakrishna is likely to star in the Telugu remake of a super hit Malayalam film 'Body Guard'

'Body Guard' (Malayalam) starring Dileep and Nayanatara in the lead roles was released last year and was a big hit at the box office. The same film was also made in Tamil with Vijay and Asin with the title ' Kaavalan.' Tamil version released for this Sankranthi also bagged a huge success. ‘Bodyguard’ is also being remade in Hindi with Salman Khan in the lead.

And now, noted producer Bellamkonda Suresh is planning to remake the film in Telugu with Balakrishna in the lead.

Bellamkonda Suresh had already announced projects with Puri Jagannath and Ramesh Varma (Ride fame). But both the projects did not take off. Now, one of these directors is likely to direct the remake. More details about this project are awaited.
