Wanted, the film starring Gopichand and Deeksha Seth, will be released on January 26 as a gift for the Republic Day. Directed by debutant BVS Ravi and produced by Venigella Ananda Prasad, the film has music by Chakri.

Speaking to reporters, director Ravi said that Wanted will remain a special film forever in Gopichand`s career. "It is a mix of a strong story and powerful narration. The characterization of the hero is going to be another asset. Chakri`s music already brought rich dividends to the film. Prakash Raj`s role will be memorable."

Deeksha Seth said that she played the role of a village lass and she hoped that it would bring her the much-required recognition for her talents in the industry. Producer Ananda Prasad said that earlier his production house made Sowryam with Gopichand and it enthralled all sections of the audiences.

"The present film will repeat the magic of Sowryam. It is a mass entertainer with love and comedy aspects getting a fair deal." Cinematography is handled by Rasool Ellore.
