The latest update about the Pawan Kalyan upcoming movie The Shadow is that Kingfisher model Anjali Lavania has been selected in as second heroine. This is debut the debut film in Telugu. Sarah Jane Dias will play the main female lead. Jackie Shroff and Adivi Sesh (of Karma fame) are playing important roles.

‘The Shadow,’ according to the director, would be a gangster film with mafia backdrop. Neelima Tirumalasetty and Shobu Yarlagadda are producing the film under Sangamithra Arts and Arka Media banners.

Regular shooting of the film is expected to start from 2nd week of May, and the first schedule is planned in Kolkata. The film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by P.S.Vinod and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

Anjali Lavania, the 27 year old Mumbai based is a well-known name in the fashion and ad circuit. She featured as The Kingfisher Calender Girl for March 2011 and was also part of several bikini model photo shoot.

Anjali Lavania, who is regular with meditation, says that yoga has helped develop glamour and lose weight. This leggie lass was also photographed by ace shutter bug Atul Kasbekar for various photo shoot.
